Today I’ll be performing the first in a series of extremely exciting concerts with The Heritage Orchestra and Scanner. The piece is based on the music of Joy Division, reworked by Scanner and several members of the orchestra. In addition Matt Watkins will be projecting visual art onto screens either side of the orchestra. It’s going to be an incredible spectacle! You can read more about it here.
Today I performed with Tim Exile, at Village Underground, doing a "unique and twisted collaboration between interactive music pioneer and Warp artist Tim Exile and the ground-breaking, award-winning Heritage Orchestra. Plus, the premiere of Max de Wardener’s mercurial Piano Concerto featuring the latest in sound design conceived by Manuel Poletti from the world’s leading sound lab, IRCAM in Paris.
Here we are, playing our socks off.
